This package is best for students who are already confident in their writing but want a professional set of eyes to review their papers before submissions. For this package, students will send in their essays and I will provide feedback and guidance to create a final draft. After students incorporate my feedback into their final draft, they’ll send me their essays a final time for me to polish (correct grammar, edit syntax, and suggest minor word modifications) so they have a final product to submit.
Because I only get one round of revision, I will not have as much of an opportunity to help grow and expand your ideas. This is why I only recommend this package to experienced writers who feel confident about their stories and topics.

You’ll send me your application essays three times at various stages. I’ll provide detailed feedback and coach you through what steps and changes you’ll need to make for each revision. Once you send me your final revision, I'll proofread your completed essays so you’ll have a polished product to turn in.

This package is best for students who have not begun college application essays or are just in the early stages of the process. Because of the larger timescale and many services, this package includes, it is highly recommended to start this as early as you can. With this package, you’ll learn what separates a good college application essay from a bad one, how to write effectively, how to choose the best topic for you to write about, how to organize your ideas into a coherent structure, how to find your voice in your writing, and more.

Why Me?
I’m Floyd McCluhan, a senior English student at the University of California, Berkeley with a 4.0 GPA. Over the past few years, I’ve developed strong skills as a writer, editor, and tutor specializing in essay editing.
I’ve worked as an English tutor at a community college for over two years; I have been a professor's assistant for various English courses; I’ve taught English as a private tutor; I taught a creative writing course; and even hosted college essay application workshops. Besides teaching and tutoring, I have professional experience working in a communications role where I frequently write for print and digital publications.

As a previous transfer student myself, I am uniquely aware of some of these challenges students face, and this is why I offer 25% off services and packages for all transfer students.
Is English Your First Language?
I have specialized training in tutoring English for ESL (English as Second Language) and Generation 1.5 Students. If this applies to you, please let me know as there are specialized approaches and techniques I’ll utilize. In general, when wanting editing or tutoring anywhere, it's often good to know if your editor or tutor is trained in ESL.

How soon will I get my essay returned?

After you submit an essay for revision, you will get a revised version within one week from the purchase date. If you purchased a package that includes multiple revisions, you will get the essay within one week from your submission. If for some reason this is not possible (for example I’m overbooked) I will let you know before your purchase. Need it sooner? For $40 I will guarantee feedback within 3 days.

Can you write my essay for me?

No. This is plagiarism and not acceptable. Besides, colleges want to hear your voice, not mine. I can help rewrite sections that are awkwardly written, and provide alternate ways to write existing sentences, but can not create material for you.
